About ultra premium wine kits

Minimize

This section has two lines of wine kits that are fermented on grape skins, giving them a high quality that is comparable to good commercial wines. So check out the En Primeur, Show Case and the Winery Series. You will discover lots of special wines that will be a great edition to your wine celler.

For those new to red wines I would go right down to the Winery Series kits. The flavours are great, but maybe a little lighter than the others. The Winery Series is approachable sooner, so would be the best choice in most cases for those that can't wait a year or more for the wine to reach it's full potential. Some of the Show Case wines are also great for people new to red wines. Check out the Pinot Noir, Pinotage and Chateau du Pays which are all excellent choices.

The En Primeur wines are for those with patience, and are willing to wait for something special and feel they deserve nothing but the best as the juice in them is of a very high standard. En Primeur wines are meant to be cellared for a longer period of time. Whites are priced at $161.99 and the reds are priced from $167.99 to $170.99 and they are worth every penny. It is just that at the moment most people are not prepared to pay that price and so we only bring them in on request.

For those that are daring, Nancy and I would highly recommend makaing a batch of the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. It has to be one of the best Sauvignon Blancs we have tasted in either a kit or commercial wine.

The wines we carry in stock are indicated below, any wine not showing as "in stock" are ones that we can order in.  Non stock does not mean it isn't a good wine, but rather the others ae better known and so ordered more.  Cost and space is a factor in what kits we carry in stock.

Come on in the store and ask for details on the En Primeur line.
